Hi there,

One of my favourite topics and the topic of my next book is the subject of decision making. I am a firm believer in the quality of your decisions impacting the quality of your life and your destiny.

It makes so much sense.

So in this Podcast I wanted to look at two different pathways, that have their place, in different situations.

In some cases the fear switch is highly effective, but in other situations if you don't flick the consciousness switch, your ability to come up with the most creative, innovative and effective solutions will be sabotaged.

In the podcast I tell you how to activate the consciousness response, when dealing with more complex (and not immediate life threatening) situations or longer-term personal crisis.

I am sure you have had experiences in life where you have had a deep inner knowing about a decision, which was more of a feeling or sense, as opposed to an intellectual knowing.

And I am sure that you (like me) on occasions have decided to ignore that inner guidance to your own detriment. You have said yes, when there is an inner part of you that is screaming "RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!"

In this podcast I look at the two different branches of the Inner Guidance System and how to access them more effectively.

I use the word Discernment a lot when I am with my Coaching Clients. Google dictionary calls it:

'The ability to judge well.'

The ability to make great judgements, and great choices is a game changer, especially when we are faced with so much information, misinformation, and disinformation in this 'Information Age'.

It becomes EVEN MORE important in any uncertain, challenging or stressful times.

In this Episode I talk about the things you need to be aware of to enhance your discernment and what to be wary of.

More discernment = better choices = awesome DESTINY.

This guided meditation is designed to put you into a brain wave state that is ideal for the body to come more into its default state of homeostasis. In this way it can heal, rejuvenate and settle into a state of peace.

One of the ways that we can assist our body with its work of rejuvenation and regeneration of new cells (we lose about half a billion cells a day) is to enter into a state of deep rest and relaxation.

If the body is not consuming energy with physical movement, and if the brain is less active (so using less energy) there is more energy available for the internal work to be done.

This meditation is designed to take you into a deeper state of relaxation and peace so the innate intelligence of the body (built over thousands and thousands of years of evolution) can do the work of 'self healing'.

Hi there,

So I recorded this podcast on 19 March 2020, which is somewhat in the middle of the Corona Virus experience we are impacted by globally.

It is an interesting time to be recording a podcast, about well-being, and doing it in a sensitive way, but is also life affirming and supportive and from my perspective - practical.

I have looked at what are some of the positive by-products of this experience and I talk about something I have been studying and working towards before the corona virus situation. And that is getting clear about what is really ESSENTIAL.

It is often when people are in a crisis, or facing a crisis - life a health scare - that they start to get really clear about what is ESSENTIAL in their life.

This is the topic I explored briefly in this podcast.

Hi there,

One of my favourite subjects in life is how to create optimum health in our bodies, so we are more vibrant, radiant, energized and as a result able to do big things in our life.

It is hard to achieve big things in life - to achieve our biggest goals or desires - if we don't have the energy, health or vibrancy to do it.

I wrote 'The Guidebook to Optimum Health' to take a deep dive at what things are most effective in creating optimum health for us all. And part of that exploration was the acknowledgment that exercise and good nutrition alone are not enough.

The field of psychoneuroimmunology also acknowledges that our psychological state can have an impact on our immune system and therefore our overall health.

So this podcast is about a simple action we can take to enhance the innate healing abilities of our very intelligent bodies (which have been learning and evolving for 1000's and 1000's of years).

In this podcast I delve into the subject of Limiting Beliefs (also called stories, internal dialogue, repetitive thoughts, etc.) as it applies to my own relationship with increasing my 'success'.

I realised recently that I had a belief about SUCCESS that was actually making me want to avoid the idea of more success, not because it is categorically bad, but because my STORY made it to.

I also wanted to let you know that I have been working on this stuff for 20 years, but I still get caught up in internal dialogues that don't serve me. So never feel bad or ashamed for the crap that is playing around in your head - just acknowledge it and learn and grow from the experience.

Every 4 weeks I record a guided meditation with a different theme to it.

The benefit of a guided meditation is that it allows a deeper conversation to land without (or with less) interference from the critical and analytical mind.

When you get very relaxed you are more open to receiving the messages that are key for your growth and evolution. They also wake up a part of you that has access to a deeper level of wisdom and knowing.

Hi there,

Decision making is one of my favourite topics. Because for me, the quality of our decisions shapes not only our day-to-day life, but also our DESTINY. So anything we can learn to make better decisions is time well spent.

I also have 14 years of being an officer in the Army, plus 5 years of consulting to Olympic Games around the world; so I bring a lot of formal training on decision making, and mix it with what I have learned about individual decision making from coaching clients for 12 years.

I used to believe that having the knowledge and experience lead to wisdom and with wisdom I would make better choices.

Bad news.
It is not enough. Close. But not enough. winking

Today's podcast episode is the first of a monthly offering which I am called 'Self-Coaching Strategies'. These strategies are simple things that you can apply into your day and life that will cause you to get new (and of course better!!) results in your life.

This first self-coaching offering is about realising that the way we look at something, the way that we perceive it, or the lens of perception we are looking through creates a certain internal experience.

Different lenses give us a different experience, such as joy, frustration, awe, annoyance, etc.

So with this simple strategy it takes from experiencing a heavy sense of being, to a much lighter and playful sense of being. Does feeling lighter sound like something you would want more of?
